I have been too busy with my part time work from November - January that I have neglected updating this blog. A few days/weeks ago, I've received email notifications of people commenting on my blog asking for an update after 2 months of taking Buah Merax Mix.
For the record, I started taking Buah Merax Mix on November 20 (Read my Day 1 post here). Has it really been 2 months since I started taking it? I checked my messages with the distributor for all my orders:
November 20 - 3 bottles
November 23 - 6 bottles
November 28 - 11 bottles
December 8 - 11 bottles
January 6 - 6 bottles
----
TOTAL: 37 bottles
From November to December, I was drinking 7 caps, 3 times a day so that's like 1 bottle a day. So in total, November to December was like 31 days of drinking concentrated Buah Merax Mix. In January, due to lack of funds, I've started taking a total of 7 caps a day or 1 bottle every 3 days. That's approximately 18 days. Just today, I've ordered and received 3 bottles for my personal consumption.
More or less, I've been drinking for approximately 1.5-2 months.
THE VERDICT?
I will continue to drink Buah Merax Mix as my condition has really improved. I looked back at my very first post (Read: I'm in pain due to gallstones!) and I have never felt those anymore. I have not gone back to the hospital, either. I am now currently working and commuting to Pasig with no problem! I haven't been able to get an ultrasound done but I will have one done soon. I'll continue to take Buah Merax Mix on a regular basis and will continue to update everyone. Imagine, I skipped surgery for Buah Merax Mix!
Btw, I will soon be selling Buah Merax Mix and I will serve as a living testament to it's effectiveness. :)
Thanks,
Ruth

Oral Surgery of Impacted Wisdom Tooth
HISTORY
About 4 or 5 years ago, I was advised by my dentist to have my impacted wisdom teeth (1 on each end of my lower jaw) surgically removed but I just didn't have the time and of course, the money for it. I then resigned from my call center job so I didn't really went to the dentist on a regular basis after that.
DILEMMA AND DRAMA BEFORE GETTING THE SURGERY
During the 2015 holidays, I've been feeling pain from my right wisdom tooth or from the teeth before that. I consulted with the local health center to know what's actually happening. I was told to have it removed as I would continuously feel pain until it has been removed. The right side was continuously pushing my other teeth, thus, the excruciating pain I was feeling.
I asked my cousin for recommendations but she said it would really be costly. She told me to go to UP Manila's College of Dentistry. On January 4 or 5, I went there around 9 or 10 am with my dad but was told to come back around January 25 as all the dentists and students are still on vacation.
On January 25, we arrived around 7AM and there was already 10 people who beat me to the line. You just have to sign up with the guard and give a valid ID. Then they will instruct you to wait and upon cue, they'll ask all of you to go up to the 2nd floor to fill up a form to submit.
Cheap dental services c/o UP Manila's College of Dentistry
I returned the xray copy to the receptionist and she got my details. The schedule for surgeries was too far away, around Feb 15 as there were no graduating studies who are going to fulfill that type of requirement yet. She got my details and said to wait for her call / text to confirm that I can go to UP to be evaluated and 5 days afterwards, I would then be operated on.
From Jan 25 to Feb 15, there were countless sleepless nights of pain and headaches because of my teeth.
Feb 15 came and I did not receive any calls or texts. I then decided that I could not wait any longer for UP so my husband and I looked for other alternatives.
SURGERY DAY
I skipped work and got a new xray done at UP Manila College of Dentistry.
Panoramic xray of my teeth.
Sorry for the orangey background, those are goldfish in the aquarium. lol
Good thing that my husband and I chanced upon Dr. Lou Dental Clinic at Sta. Ana (near Imbyernes / Inviernes) when we were en route to UP. When we were heading back home, we dropped by their place and found that the surgery would only cost Php6,000. I asked for their business card but still hoped that I could find someone cheaper. Clinic has been newly renovated and patients came in and out of the clinic. They were quite popular, if I may say.
Long story short, I had to drop by my office in Pasig to get my paycheck, have the check encashed by my mother-in-law and then went straight back to Dr. Lou Dental Clinic at Sta. Ana.
THE PROCEDURE
They checked my blood pressure first but it was still in the normal range, though I was nervous. Dr. Lou injected anesthesia and started the procedure.
This, by far, has been the scariest thing I have experienced in my life, even scarier than giving normal birth. I was earnestly praying to God to let me live or if I die, to take care of Chloe for me. Even if my right side was numb, there were times that I would still feel jolts of pain. He was astounded that I still felt pain even if he already shot me a couple of times with anesthesia. My body couldn't relax and was so tense that I had to force myself to breathe in and out at times. It was my fault that I failed to explain to him that in the previous days, my teeth were aching.
He was like a miner, digging into my mouth to get the tooth out. He looked for dental instruments / equipments that were not there on his work table. In total, I was shot a total of 11 times with anesthesia. Thank God I was able to survive that! The dentist told me that next time, I should not wait for a tooth to hurt before coming back to a dentist. I was prescribed with antibiotics and pain reliever. In 3 weeks, I need to go back for them to remove the sutures.
My Dental Certificate as proof of the operation done.
I had the operation done on February 16 and the next day, UP texted me if I could go and be evaluated. Next time, probably. Oh, and did I mention that I still have one more impacted tooth that needs to be removed? Good Lord, please give me the strength to endure that one, too!
New Year, New Job!
The New Year was full of surprises indeed! I was offered a job when I wasn't even looking for one. A part-owner of a company who partnered with the previous company I worked for contacted me and would like to discuss how we could work together. He asked me to come and meet him and his staff in their office in Pasig.
At the back of my head, I thought I was dreaming. Opportunity was presenting itself to me. God really moves in mysterious ways. I also thought and prayed hard if I was all ready to work again. The only reason why I wasn't actively looking for a job was because of my gallstone problems. I didn't think I would be able to handle commuting or being absent too often from work.
I came in for an "interview" but the "interviewer" (TL) didn't want me to think of it that way. We were just talking and discussing about stuff and told me to feel comfortable. Everything was informal. He would ask me questions about my past experiences and responsibilities but still, he was like a common friend as he also knew my previous boss / owner of the company I worked for. We were just laughing at each other's jokes but still being able to discuss important matters.
TL wanted me to tell him the tasks and responsibilities I had before so he could fit me in a right position in his company. He didn't want to put me in a position and fit me in with the job description. It was his "burden" to figure out where I would really excel. Long story short, my husband waited at 7-11 for about 2 hours for me to finish being "interviewed". LOL
I was really impressed with the company, with what they do and how they actually operate. TL wanted me to be a part of his extraordinary company but he didn't want to pressure me to give an answer right away. He asked me to send him an email on how I think I would fit in his company, if I do decide to join them. TL also wanted me to let him know regarding the salary and compensation I "wanted".
It was such a long email that I just typed it in a Word document and attached it to the email lol. In the email, I discussed about my supposed upcoming surgery at UP Manila College of Dentistry (more details here) and was concerned that I might not be able to fulfill my responsibilities after it being done.
A few days after, I was invited to come in again so I could talk to one of the other part-owner, JU. JU was going to be my immediate supervisor and unfortunately, TL wasn't around so he was only on speakerphone. They gave me a wonderful offer (which I really thanked God for) and told me that I can start on February 2.
Yey!
December 2015 updates / Buah Merah Mix
Hi everyone,
I apologize as I really didn't realize that it has been so long since I last updated my blog. I have been receiving comments on past posts asking for an update after taking Buah Merah Mix for 2 months so that prompted me to take a look at my forgotten blog.
Upon checking, I haven't even recorded here my last ultrasound result and that was in December 2015! Really, really sorry >.<
DECEMBER 2015
Due to lack of funds, I was unable to retain my one bottle a day drinking of Buah Merah Mix and so I stopped for a while back in late December. I still refrained eating oily and fatty foods or anything that was fried even if it was the holidays.
There was one time that I felt the familiar excruciating pain under / near my right rib. I had to take Tramadol for it as it was starting to intensify. After that bout, no pain was again felt for the whole December. And that was the only time I took a pain reliever again. No trips to the hospital, too.
My next posts will be updates for the rest of 2016. :)
Thanks,
Ruth

DECEMBER 2015
Ultrasound results from December 8, 2015
If I'm not mistaken, I had a scheduled appointment back at OsMak on December 9. I gave them the copy of the above results and told me that I still needed surgery. I even told them that the stones and/or polyps were diminishing in size.
I just told them that I will hold off the surgery and will just consult again, if I decide to push thru with the surgery.
Visual presentation of the changes in gallstone size, polyps, wall and commonduct.
Data from past ultrasounds (Sept 16 & Nov 4 and the above ultrasound).
Red arrows indicate an increase in size from last ultrasound while blue arrows indicate a decrease.
When I had the ultrasound done on December 8, it has been barely 3 weeks since I started taking Buah Merah Mix (Read: Day 1: Buah Merah Mix Preparation & first take) and yet, results have been promising. Ultrasound reflected positive results and I was feeling much much better than before. For the record, I started drinking Buah Merah Mix on November 20, 2015.
